Community Care Summer Course Now Enrolling

Athy Further Education and Training Centre are now enrolling for QQI Level 5 Community Care Summer Course. This course is for those who wish to enter the Community or Healthcare services and work in a supportive role in many healthcare and community care settings.

We will be running 2 modules Care Skills and Care of the Older Person two mornings a week starting June 1st 2022. The course will be blended learning ( online and in the centre) Both of these modules will go towards achieving the full QQI Community Care Major Award 5M2786

Students who successfully complete the Community Care Major Award go on to work in healthcare settings such as local nursing homes and hospitals, homecare support agencies, medical centres.
